Pretty hard core.
My kids can love Franklin, Little Bear, Spongebob (heck I do) or whatever but I've always said no Dora.
Well today I had to do some cleaning up before the In-Laws came over for a visit and so I was trying to find something exciting for Evan on netflix and Dora was the only exciting thing.
So I turned it on for the boy and I began cleaning around the house trying terribly hard to ignore the
"do do Dora do do Dora
Swiper no swiping Swiper no Swiping
I'm the map I'm the map I'm the map"
Some little blue bird that Dora was saving kept saying "mama" and so my son comes running into the kitchen saying "mama mama!"
Evan is a smart little boy and he jabbers alot but just hasn't got the hang of talking yet and that boy has NEVER been a fan of the word "mama" so whenever he does say it I am always super excited!!
Tomorrow my sister is taking our family pictures and I had a dress rehersal with the boys making sure all of there clothes fit and this is a preview of Parker's outfit :)
He is so stinkin cute! I can't believe how big he is getting.

If you got "Mama mama" after Dora, the hate meter should go down a bit, no? : ) I LOVE hearing my babies say Mama. It just gets me every time. Your little man is adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteLol yes I demoted myself from level 5 Dora hater to level 4 so its a start lol The 7th month old just said his first word two days ago and it was Mama!! I was SO proud! haha Thank you! I think he is pretty cute too! :D

haha yes!! I hate the "lets see how many times we can repeat this word" songs!!! haha and then you find yourself randomly singing "I'm the map i'm the map I'm the map"
